Hathi and his three sons

Description

It's father's day and I decided to draw a Jungle book picture. This time of Hathi the wise Elephant with his three sons. In the Original book Hathi had three sons, compared to one in the Disney version) Though they seem to be as tall as him and all mature elephants.
In the original books, Hathi is the wise old Elephant who was enforced the Law of the Jungle. He is calm, patience and not quick to anger, but when he is angry, you do not want to face his wrath. When Mowgli was kicked of the man village and threaten to kill Mowgli's adopted parents(Though they are hinted to be his real parents) he uses Hathi to exact revenge on them. Hathi was captured in a Spike trap when he was a young elephant and for that he hates man with the exception of Mowgli.

This is how I would portray Hathi. The Leader of the tribe of Hathi. While most Elephants are mostly female run, the tribe of Hathi would be made up of both male and female Elephants who enforce the Law of the Jungle. As a young Elephant, Hathi was captured by the British army and received his scars in battle. (in the Disney version he mentions he was in the Maharajah's 5th Pachyderm Brigade) after seeing so many of his comrades die in battle, he goes AWOL and goes back into the wild, holding a contempt for man who he sees as nothing more than savages.

His sons would be
Aadi: The First born. Wanting to be like his father and next in line to lead the tribe. He is serious, hard working and cares for the interest of the tribe.
Vijay: Calm, lax, and easy going. Vijay has a tendency to eat "strange plants". He is not as determine to be leader of the tribe and leaves that to his older brother. All he wants to do is spend his days at the watering hole.
Goral: The Youngest of the brothers. He is young, funloving and naive. He looks up to his father and hates it when the females of the tribe baby him especially his mother. He is great friends with Mowgli and at first Hathi objects to him playing with Mowgli, but over time lets the two be friends.

My guess at Hathi referencing 1888 might be a reference to the book since that book was written in 1894. Even though they haven't really used much of the book. I actually looked at the clips of Hathi' and his Jungle/Dawn Patrol and counted a load of elephants. Obviously the stand out elephant troops would be Dusty Muzzle, The Dimwit Cud Chewer, The Veteran one with the black eye and different shaped tusks), Bugeler(one who gets his trunk shut up), Grinner, The Fly, and The Lieutenant(Hair cut elephant).  the other elephants would be a brown male and male, tan male and female, black or dark blue female, lavender purple male and female, a light blue male and female, a blue male, a light gray male and female, a magenta female, and a dark purple female. Making it 20 elephants.
