I've seen alot of pictures of Soviet MLP and I thought I would expand on it with Applejack and Pinkie Pie(in her Pinkamena stage) as Ukrainian Partisans during the German Invasion of the Soviet Union. TIME FOR HISTORY LESSON! After his humilating defeat of the Battle of Britain, On June 22 1941, Adolf Hitler launched the greatest land invasion in history on his then ally, the Soviet Union. The Soviets were caught off guard, with Soviet leader, Joesph Stalin being the most stunned, thinking that Germany would attack, after they defeated the British. The Soviet army was unprepared with troops surrendering in large numbers mainly due to weak preparations and the Great Purge where Stalin had some of his best generals killed. . At first in territories in the in the Soviet Union, that were not part of Russia, like the Ukraine, welcomed the Germans as liberators. Thinking they would free them from the tyranny of Stalin who killed millions of Ukrainians during the Great Famine of the 1930s, however it would be soon that Hitler would prove to be just as bad maybe worse than Stalin himself. Hitler saw the Slavic people of the Soviet Union as undesirables, primitives, inferior to the "Aryan" German, and like the Jews wanted to eliminate them. Many have suffered under the German occupation, especially the Jews. With the help of some locals, the Germans rounded up Soviet Jews and would execute most of them, sometimes entire families. Killed by firing squads called the Einzengruppen. One example is Babi Yar, a small Jewish town outside of Kiev, on Yon Kippur, the entire town was slaughter. no survivors. As you would expect people of the occupied territories weren't gonna take it anymore, so Stalin encouraged those living under Nazi occupation to fight back, thus the Soviet Partisans came. They used guerrilla warfare against t the Germans, though sadly the germans would retaliate. If one German soldier were killed by the Partisans, then 30 cillivians were to be killed, but this only intensified the fighting. Women were just as fierce fighting for their Motherland as the men were sometimes even more.Which leads me to Applejack and Pinkamena. Applejack comes from a family of hard working apple farmers who value work, family and friendship. Applejack is the most helpful, and honest of the Mane six and will do anything to help out her friends and family, and when I humanize her I made her Jewish, because I tend to make diverse line of humanized ponies. And sad to say this, but I think Jackie in this scene is the only survivor of her family. And knowing Jackie she's not just gonna sit and mope, but fight to be sure their deaths weren't in vain. Pinkie Pie is a cheering, fun and energetic pony (This case human) Who loves to party and put smiles on everypony's face. She didn't always be like that. She was originally Pinkamena Diane Pie who was the daughter of a Rock farmer, which sounds boring already, but with the Sonic Rainboom, it helped changed her dull lifeless self to the happy energetic pony alot of people love, however when she loses her sanity she becomes a more demented Pinkamena and again I think that will happen. Pinkamena would be hell bent on revenge on the Fascist invaders who took her family, and be sure they never see their's ever again. You know I think I might write a fanfic on this. But yeah due to the Ukrainians being wheat farmers I thought this would be kinda interesting. Sorry for bumming you guys out, but it's what happen.

a great history lesson! I also love the dark style. Technically Nazi Germany and the USSR were not allies, they signed a nonagression pact, mutually realizing that they would be fighting at on point, the pact was to delay that
Thanks! Usually when I do something MLP related I usually don't use a dark style, but for something like this it fit the perfect mood. And Oops, big mistake on that one. After all despite being ideological enemies, Hitler and Stalin knew neither of their countries were ready for war with each other, so the pact was used to prepare their armies, unfortunately for Stalin he didn't use it to his proper advantage.
