So after two years of keeping Spike a dragon, I decided to humanize him. If you see my art you know that I kept Spike as a dragon while I made the others human (because I can't draw ponies to save my life) anyway feeling that it would make a good story for Spike to want to be human so he can finally have Rarity, I thought I give him a little break. But I didn't just want to come out the blue and say Spike is human now, I wanted a little setup to it. However I didn't want to fully humanize him, I really wanted to keep his dragon features. The reason why I didn't humanize Spike in the first place is because I thought that at first the relationship between Twilight and Spike was more of a master servant kind of thing and I just thought that wasn't right, but now I see them as a big sister, little brother relationship. So yeah I finally made Spike human.
