Description
My version of the Mane 6 from MLP who are now known as Team Harmony. Here is how I see the group. Tara “Twilight Sparkle” Gordon, Eleanor “Rarity” Wu, Jacqueline “Applejack” Taimanov, Betsy “Pinkie Pie” Boer, Juanita “Rainbow Dash” Gutierrez and Bahiya “Fluttershy” Ansari. Six girls who were outsiders in their own way. Whether it be by race, nationality, religion, interests, sexuality or weight. Until one day they all met, at first they did not get along, Tara was seen as too cold, Eleanor a snob, Jacqueline a hick, Betsy too annoying and hyperactive, Juanita a hard head and Bahiya too shy until they found out their principal, turned out to be the other worldly ruler known as Queen Celestia (Why a queen? She rules an entire kingdom man! Queens are not always evil!) Celestia has chosen all six of them to combat a greater evil. With the Celestia’s sister, Luna who is now the evil Nightmare Moon, Celestia gives them the elements of Harmony each element giving the user powers.

Ever since their battle with Nightmare Moon, the six have become the best of friends and defend the world from bigger threats as time goes on while facing a world that rejects them.
As you can see this was based off two tings. Power Ponies and the X-men. While I found the Power Ponies episode to be enjoyable, I thought it lacked potential and was just their to show off a lot of superhero references and cliches which I liked but still. And most likely the X-men. For those that truly don’t know the X-men are a superhero team in the Marvel Universe who fight for a people who fear and hate them because they are mutants. The stories were an allergory for bigotry such as Racism and Homophobia and after witnessing some of these bigotries I thought I would put this into my humanizations of the MLP gang. At first when I started out doing these My Little Pony Humanizations I just wanted to teach a message like the show did such as Friendship and Tolerance, but of couse I was an idealistic fool and I wanted to make something more, so I thought how about make them like the X-men! I was mostly inspired by the 70s run on the X-men which had a diverse group which had a Blue Demon looking German, a Black woman, a Russian and a Native American So basically here for the Mane 6 I made Twilight an Afro Canadian, Rarity Half White Half Chinese, Applejack a Ukrainian Jewish Lesbian , Pinkie Pie a chubby Dutch, Rainbow Dash a Mestizo Mexican tomboy and Fluttershy an Indian Muslim. Each hated and persecuted in their own way. I look forward to doing more with them and this is going to be fun.
